Ruth's Quilt.

Hi, Isn't it great that it's Friday. I had a little drive in the country yesterday to meet a client and whilst driving I thought......fantastic it's Friday!.....sleep in tomorrow etc...Then the harsh blow of reality....it's only Thurs. Don't you hate that.

But, anyway it's friday today and I am happy about that.

Today I am sharing a project I started back in March (yes, it was this year!!)

Ruth's Quilt, designed by Leanne Beasley. This is my second Ruth's Quilt. The first was a wedding present for my brother. I have decided to have a red/green theme this time. The last one I made in reds, greens, browns and pinks.
Have a great weekend, Kristyx

Well it isn't quite friday here in the Pacific Northwest but close enough! I am working on these blocks too. Did you back each of your blocks with interfacing? I think I saw that in the instructions but that was after I had begun stitching.

What lovely blocks, I just love the fabric you have next to them. I'm guessing you're going to use them for the setting.

I can't believe you are on your second one already!! I just love Leanne's quilts and other designs too. How did you quilt your last one? I am doing this quilt too and i'm not sure what would look best.

wow, that is going to look great. I have seen lots of versions of this quilt and they all look stunning. Congrats on finishing your BOM too!

How long did it take you to do all those stitcheries? I'm designing my first ever BOM, which is exciting and frustrating at the same time - I just want it finished yesterday, and choosing all the fabric is such a daunting task, so well done you, I love reds and greens (I don't think they are Christmasy at all!).
