In a bind!

Finally, I am sewing down the binding on Leanne's House Bom. I thought this day would never come. I am already day dreaming about which project I am going to work on next. Really I need to knock a few UFO's over before I can begin on a new project. I will show a few yet to be finished projects in my next blogs. I must say I am pretty pleased to be nearing the end of this one. Do you get like that when you have been working on something for a long time?

Till next time

Take care, Kristyx

It's really a great quilt and when we reach the binding stage it's like running that last lap of the race. I too am wanting to do one of Leanne's quilt projects (I'm doing the 365 Challenge) so I'm planning to order a pattern or two in the near future. So many wonderful projects, so little time.

I have a long way before I can put the binding on my Leannes House quilt. Still 4 block to stitch. I guess it feels great to say: Finished!!!!

Hello Kristy

Your quilt looks beautiful - your border fabric is very pretty. For all of us who have made/are making this quilt, it's been a long haul but so worth all the effort.

Absolutely beautiful Kristy. Well done. I find by the end of the binding I am really rushing it amd my stitches get bigger and bigger, lol.
Once they're finished I often feel I am "over" them and put them away for a couple of weeks. Then I get them out again and remember how much I love them.

Well done Kristy. What a wonderful quilt. This is a massive project and you must feel a great sense of achievement. I can't wait to see your whole quilt when your binding is done, and as Leanne would say don't forget your label. bfn

Well done Kristy, its a lovely quilt, but of course I would say that as I have done it as well and mine is proudly hanging on my lounge room wall.

Well done.
